Maja Grecic is UK based artist with MFA from Belgrade University of Arts, Serbia, where a good, traditional approach to figurative painting was nurtured as foundation for any further course of development. Maja's artworks are bold, expressive and semi-abstract impressions of nature, but always based on elements from reality that appear as fragments and symbols, more or less visible. She speaks through color to express her intimate thoughts. Infatuated with landscape scenery, particularly orchard and forest images, her personal experience and intimate emotion is manifesting and dominating in her artworks. Her paintings could be found in private collections across the globe, including UK, USA, France, Portugal, Serbia, Canada, Switzerland, China, Holland, Singapore and more.
